Marlene Jukes Award

The Marlene Jukes Best Club Person Award was established in 1995 in recognition of the contributions and hard work Marlene made over the years.

Marlene spent countless years on the committee and coaching. For many years she was the ‘go to’ lady, whether it was going to her house to try on uniforms, or hand over money as she was the treasurer of the club. There have been many people within the club who have made a contribution, but to those around in the 70s, 80s and 90s, you know Marlene was the one to go to for anything Fairpark.

The Marlene Jukes Award is voted on by Committee members and coaches and is awarded every year, to an individual who made a similar contributions as Marlene did to the club over the last 12 months. It is the clubs highest honour.
